چکیده

To analyse the 137Cs distribution and migration under various fractions of organic matter layers, this study investigated easily recognizable, originally shaped L-fractions, not early fermented fragmented F-fractions, both oak (Quercus serrata) cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) sampled from Osawa watershed sites at Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The materials were put on top soil columns Field Museum (FM) Tamakyuryo in Hachioji Tokyo. vertical forest profiles was analyzed using relaxation mass depth, ho (kg m?2). Soil with L F- layer cedar, labelled as Oak-L, Oak-F, Cedar-L Cedar-F four replications (n = 16), set up by laboratory column-based method kept five months’ incubation period. after depths 0–1 cm, 1–2 2–5 cm 5–10 cm. Results inventory showed that 86% (oak cedar) total accumulated within F-layer, indicating transformation litter is a huge source for potentially mobile 137Cs, especially F-layer (67% inventory) further continuous transfer into mineral layers. A higher treated soils (Oak-L Cedar-L) compared to F treatments implied low amounts penetrated faster deeper due their water-soluble nature. Furthermore, 24.3 kg m?2 than Oak-F ho, 14.0 m?2, significant positive relationship between retention carbon (TC) (p < 0.05) suggested influence penetration retention. C/N (carbon nitrogen ratio) results revealed high including observed Cedar-F, which decomposition does advance, penetrates while fraction C/N, advanced release held adsorption unto RIP (radiocesium interception potential) surface. In addition, infiltration water transportation process largely downward lower Cedar-F.

Germination inhibitor from the Japanese cedar Cryptomeria japonica.

(1S,6R)-2,7(14),10-Bisabolatrien-1-ol-4-one was identified as a germination inhibitor from the methanol extract of Japanese cedar wood, Cryptomeria japonica. The occurrence of this compound in 1 g fresh wood was 2.0 mg, and showed a maximum of 60% germination inhibition at the dose of 20 mg/filter paper (157 microg/cm(2)) against both of lettuce and rice seeds for 4 d. A selective activity betw...

Antifeedants against Acusta despesta from the Japanese cedar, Cryptomeria japonica.

During our studies on the components in Japanese cedar, Cryptomeria japonica, we found that the crude methanol extract of C. japonica showed intense antifeeding activity against one snail species, Acusta despesta, which is well-known as a pest of many vegetables and crops. The active components in the extract were separated into the hexane and ethyl acetate soluble fractions. From the active et...

the analysis of the role of the speech acts theory in translating and dubbing hollywood films

Possible role of climate change in the pollen scatter of Japanese cedar Cryptomeria japonica in Japan

We conducted an atmospheric pollen survey using a Durham sampler from 1983 through 1998 in Toyama City, Japan. We investigated yearly changes in the pollen season of Japanese cedar Cryptomeria japonica and analyzed the relationships between climatic factors and changes in the pollen counts. The results were as follows: (1) The first day of the Japanese cedar pollen season advanced from mid-Marc...
